Facilitator and Analysts who have formally completed the following requirements can be registered and provided with Certificates to indicate their standing:
WeValue Facilitator Levels
LEVEL 1: Apprentice Facilitator– Certified to train with a Training Facilitator.
They have been a participant in a full workshop, and observed at least ONE full workshop under a Trainer Facilitator’s guidance, and have read about the Orchestrations, and acknowledged in writing the related Ethics and data management implications.
LEVEL 2: Assistant Facilitator – Certified to assist a Training facilitator.
In addition to Level 1 they have observed at least TWO FURTHER full workshops, and have separately facilitated 1-3 sections of at least TWO workshops under guidance of a Trainer Facilitator, and have attended a seminar on underpinning concepts (or studied independently and completed worksheets where available).
LEVEL 3: Accompanying Facilitator– Certified to work alongside a Full Facilitator as a bridge to local people. In addition to Level 1 they have observed at least ONE FURTHER full workshop, and have separately helped a Facilitator to translate through translation to local language and/or concepts in 1-3 sections of at least ONE FURTHER workshop, into local ones, and have attended a seminar on underpinning concepts (or studied independently and completed worksheets where available).
LEVEL 4: Novice Facilitator – Certified to lead WeValue sessions on their own within the VERSION, SECTOR, and CULTURE specified on their Certificate.
They have completed the leading of at least EIGHT FULL sessions with a Master Facilitator training them.
LEVEL 5: Full Facilitator – Certified to lead WeValue sessions for a wide range of cultures and sectors (as specified on their Certificate) but for only ONE version e.g., [WeValue InSitu] OR [WeValue Melding].
LEVEL 6: Master Facilitator– Certified to lead any WeValue versions/cultures/sectors and can also do ad hoc (when it is not known until the time of the workshop what the situation is).
TITLE which can be earned: ‘Trainer’ Facilitator– specifically certified to train others at their own Certified Level and below.

WeValue Analyst Levels
LEVEL 1: Apprentice Analyst – Certified to train with a Training Analyst.
They have been a participant in a full workshop, and observed at least ONE full workshop under a Trainer Facilitator/Analyst’s guidance, and have thoroughly read the Trigger List and understood why only some were taken up, and acknowledged in writing the related Ethics and data management implications.
LEVEL 2: Assistant Analyst – Certified to develop Trigger List statements from interviews. Has done this for 4-6 interviews, and back translated the statements, and achieved Level 1.
LEVEL 3: Accompanying Analyst – Certified for Levels 1,2 Analyst work and to develop Trigger List statements (and thence Trigger Lists) from interviews back and forth into English, and to adapt them appropriately for local use. They have done the latter at least ONCE under guidance from a Trainer Analyst, and have achieved Level 2.
LEVEL 4: Novice Analyst – Certified for Levels 1-3 Analyst work and to identify emerging grounded Cultural Insights from Frameworks & Narratives, and to code F&Ns against external categories (such as Stunting Hub Workstreams). They have done these at least ONCE under guidance from a Trainer Analyst, and have achieved Level 2.
LEVEL 5: Full Analyst – Certified for Levels 1-4 Analyst work plus to develop variations as needed for varied research questions, and to carry out grounded open and also closed coding of related Focus Group Discussion data, and to set out links to F&Ns. Has done all of these at least once under a Trainer Analyst, and achieved Level 4.
LEVEL 6: Master Analyst – Certified for Levels 1-5 Analyst work plus to develop new forms of analysis ad hoc as needed for new types of WeValue data and/or research questions. Has some documented experience of doing this under a Trainer Analyst, and has achieved Level 5.
TITLE which can be earned: ‘Trainer’ Analyst– specifically certified to train others at their own Certified Level and below.
